TCC 2nd Year Anniversary #52

The Card Concept is celebrating it's 2nd Birthday!
Come join us in the festivities:) It looks like a Black Tie affair.
Here is my card for the FreeStlye/Collage category.
I was inspired by the Music paper and Black bow.

I used the Spellbinders Poppy Die D-Lites for the bloom on paper that I ran through the Mini Mink with Rose Gold foil. I also cut up PTI paper Clippings: Congratulations and scattered the festive swirls and stars about.

Stop by to see the lovely cards from the other DT members.

PTI MARCH 2016 BLOG HOP CHALLENGE

Swooning over the stitchy goodness in the inspiration photo for the PTI

MARCH 2016 BLOG HOP CHALLENGE.

The Grey with Bright pops of embroidered colors are so happy!
Here is my take on the inspiration using Doodlie-Do and some simple straight stitching for the petals.
I incorporated a sort of french knot and pink sequins
from the Shakers + Sprinkles Sequin Collection for the center of the bloom.
SMILE and Embroidered Border dies worked nicely to finish it off.

Thanks for hopping by!

Altenew March Challenge: From Places Abroad-France

WOW!! my order from Altenew arrived SUPER fast! I'm so glad it did because I've had this idea floating around in my head and I was anxious to see if it would work out.
I used the new Crisp Ink Blush and the BIRCH LAND stamp set, designed by MARIKA, to created a woods-y Background. It turned out beautifully! The small branches/limbs in the set add extra realism to the tree trunks and makes the BG more interesting.

This card is a  reflection of Cherry and Apple Blossoms I have in my memories of time spent in Paris, over 27 years ago.   It was a Gloriously beautiful Spring that year!
Altenew Stamp sets used:
Birch Land
Botanical Garden
Wild Hibiscus
Bejeweled

I made it a shaker with my favorite PPP sequins...SWEETPEA mix:)

I encourage you to stop by the gallery for the Altenew March Challenge: From Places Abroad-France, it is full of INCREDIBLE projects with a French flare!
Thanks for stopping here!
LauraJane:)

Altenew is also having a card drive celebrating Parents

Inspired by All the Little Things #7

Hello! I'm REALLY enjoying the spring blooms popping up everywhere. Not to mention the warm sunshine:))  Aren't you?
Today I'm playing with the inspiration photo at Inspired By All The Little Things.   Karen Day introduced the creative artwork of Bonnie Joynt. Hand STITCHing goodness is Bonnie's specialty! So much can be learned from walking through her blog:) I need to improve my handwork at the workbasket before adding it to my cards.
I was inspired by the fresh tulips
and hint of blue gingham in the photo.
My card features just a bit of die stitches.
I used Sketched: Tulips from STAMPlorations and my Zigs.
Two extra shims on the PTI Pretty Frame Die gave it a sharp emboss and cut.
PPP Sweet Pea sequin mix.
I used my Handy-Dandy Webster XL- 500 for the sentiment

Thanks for stopping by!

Here is a song I'm enjoying

2016 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Happy Friday!!
Could not wait to participate in the 2016 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
I used the Waffle Flower WARM WISHES and
several Basic Grey Soleil papers die cut with Lacy Layers,
I really like the look of WOW! Gold emboss on vellum. Then I water-colored the images in with Spectrum Auqa markers. I stacked the whole bunch die cuts on white cardstock embossed in WOW! Bright White using Penny Black Trailing Beauty. And finished it off by with PPP Sweet Pea mix.
Thanks for hopping by!
